How are you smart?
Every student that enters my classroom has his or her own strengths and abilities. In order to better help you learn Biology, I will try my best to let all kinds of learners work to their highest potential by utilizing different kinds of activities, lessons, and projects. I hope that you find this enjoyable and challenging throughout the year.
Body Smart
Also called a Kinesthetic learner; people who are body smart learn best by moving. They usually excel at sports and have good balance.

Number Smart
Also called a Logical/Mathematical learner; people who are number smart are good at number and word problems and enjoy statistics.

Myself smart
Also called an Intrapersonal learner; people who are myself smart understand their own thoughts and feelings. They enjoy reflecting and journaling.

Picture Smart
Also called a Visual/Spatial learner; people who are picture smart learn best by drawing or seeing diagrams and excel at reading maps, charts, and graphs.

Word Smart
Also called a Linguistic learner; people who are word smart learn best by reading or talking. They usually enjoy writing, reading, and debating about topics.

People Smart
Also called an Interpersonal learner; people who are people smart learn best by working in groups with other people. They enjoy being a part of clubs and organizations and are very social.

Music Smart
Also called Musical learners; people who are music smart learn best by making up songs or poems as mnemonic devices. They enjoy making and listening to music and rhythms.

Nature Smart
Also called Naturalistic learners; people who are nature smart enjoy learning about plants, animals, and the world around us. They enjoy learning outside and connecting learning to nature.
